GRAVES THE HERO AGAINST THE VILLAINS

Matt Graves rattled in his third hat-trick of the season, albeit with two from the spot and the first of those from a retake, before Adie Barrance scored the fourth in an ultimately comprehensive win over tough opponents in Hanworth Villa. Understandly edgy in the opening exchanges after recent disappointments, Egham were two to the good by the break, and refused to allow their visitors back into the game when they had pulled back a 0-3 deficit to 1-3. Charlie McCarthy's excellent work set up the impressive Barrance for our fourth. Matt's threesome of threesomes makes it five in total for us this campaign, Charlie Muldowney having scored three against Wembley and Dorking. I cannot recall five hat-tricks in one season. The local paper has Matt's tally thus far as 22. It isn't; it's 20 - 18 League and two Cup goals. He got singles against Chessington & Hook, Raynes Park Vale, Badshot Lea, Sandhurst and Horley, doubles at Banstead and North Greenford, and triples against Dorking, Camberley and Hanworth Villa. His cup goals were against Farnborough North End and Colliers Wood. Sorry to be so picky!

Fixture rescheduling sees us given a Thursday game at Cove on April 15th. The full list can be seen below. Nine of our remaining 16 fixtures take place in a 24 day period in April.
